To be perfectly honest I didn’t really have any interest in this film. It sounded harrowing and I don’t think that’s what any of us need in our lives!
But I was intrigued. How good could something really be if it was filmed on an iPhone? I sort of imagined it would be pretty jerky and probably induce nausea.
My first thought when I walked into the cinema was how big the screen was – I know that’s obvious but I couldn’t help but wonder how many times bigger it was than what it was actually filmed on. Trillions of times bigger is the answer.
The film has a strange premise, let’s be frank about things. But despite that it is incredibly gripping. And worrying and completely far-fetched but also possibly completely believable and could possibly actually happen.
